Free resources for victims
The Kingston Frontenac Anti-Violence Coordinating Committee (KFACC) has launched a new online resource for survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), Gender-Based Violence, and Family Violence in the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox, and Addington (KFL&A) region.
The IPV Survivors Handbook provides a comprehensive guide for those seeking support, community resources, and safety information.
The handbook includes key contacts, local services, and navigational pathways to help survivors and their families connect with agencies for assistance. Designed to be accessible and user-friendly, the resource is available online at kfacc.org and can be downloaded for free here.
Developed in collaboration with numerous local service providers, the handbook aims to empower survivors by offering them information on support programs, legal assistance, and health services.
The new resource is part of KFACC’s ongoing efforts to reduce barriers for survivors and ensure they can access vital services quickly. Local partners, including the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, contributed to the project to enhance support across the region.
