From Bump to Baby helps expecting parents
A new prenatal program is now available for expectant and new parents in Kingston and eastern Ontario.
South East Public Health has launched Bump to Baby, a free, virtual prenatal course designed to support families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.
Dr. Linna Li, Deputy Medical Officer of Health, says the program aims to improve health outcomes for both parents and infants by providing key information on pregnancy, labour, newborn care, and community resources.
Jenny Vandermeer, manager of clinical services, adds that Bump to Baby is self-paced and accessible to all South East Health Unit residents.
Vandermeer days it includes videos and quizzes on topics like feeding, safety, and parenting tips all online.
