
New machine to boosts ICU care and cuts wait times a
Just the second one in Ontario, a new portable MRI machine was unveiled on Wednesday afternoon at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. The machine will help improve ICU care and reduce MRI and CT wait times. Doctor David Pichora says it's all about patient safety.
Pichora thanked Stephen Sorensen for his generous $500,000 donation. Sorensen previously supported the MRI machine that will be located at Breast Imaging Kingston
Pichora says the machine is redy for use now.
