Celebrating local business success
Kingston Economic Development and Kingston Immigration Partnership have opened nominations for the Third Annual Newcomer Entrepreneur Awards, celebrating the achievements of newcomer business owners in the city.
The awards recognize entrepreneurs who have positively impacted Kingston’s economy and community. There are three award categories:
Community Builder Award – For those dedicated to community service.
Start-up Award – For businesses launched within the last five years.
Inspirational Entrepreneur Award – For individuals demonstrating outstanding success and leadership.
Organizers say the awards highlight the innovation and diversity that newcomers bring to Kingston’s business scene. The program aims to inspire others while reinforcing Kingston’s reputation as a welcoming, inclusive community.
Nominations are open until March 17, 2025, with winners announced on April 28, 2025.
