Having a huge impact on Kingston’s kids
It was a packed house at Rideau Acres for the annual Kids for Kids Christmas lunch on Friday, raising money for, and celebrating, the amazing work the organization does for the city's kids.
Scott Compeau is the Director of Education and Innvotaion with BGC South East he says Kids for Kids makes a big difference.
Kids for Kids blends sports, community spirit, and giving back. Their annual minor hockey tournament and other activities benefit local non-profits like BGC South East, and the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
The foundation's Director of Health Care Engagement and Sustainability Lori Faggiani says Kids for Kids helps support their NICU and pediatric patients.
Kids for Kids fosters camaraderie and good citizenship, bringing together players, families, and fans in a celebration of teamwork.
The luncheon was hosted by 102.7 WOW FM's Big G and Matty. Their contributions to the organization did not go unoticed by Compeau.
Faggiani couldn't agree more.
