A record that stood for over 30 years was broken at Limestone Lanes in Kingston during their Commercial Men's League on Monday night.
Zach Wilkins was in town from the Toronto area visiting friends and was tapped as a substitute. The PBA Tour Pro scored a new city record of 858. He gave his thoughts on the evening.
Wilkins says he was quite young when the previous record was shot.
He says this atmosphere is more relaxed than his usual PBA tour events.
He adds that this begins a busy few months of bowling across North America.
He had plenty of people to thank for this accomplishment.
The previous Kingston city record was set by Kit Miller in 1995 with an 843. Wilkins capped off his record night with a perfect 300 game to go along with a pair of 279s to start the night, for a total of 858.
