Lorna is lending a hand when possible
As deadly wildfires continue to rage in the Los Angeles-area, Lorna Jean Edmonds, the provincial Liberal candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes is visiting her daughter in the area.
Edmonds also says they've made time to help out when possible.
Edmonds says being so close to the fires is scary.
She adds the phenomenal response from firefighters and emergency responders from the U-S, Canada and Mexico has helped them feel a lot safer.
She heads back to Ontario today but says she'll continue to worry about her daughter who will remain in LA.
