Police believe there may be more victims
A 37 year old man from Scarborough has been charged with 11 offences in a human trafficking case involving Kingston police.
The investigation, named Project Shrewsbury, began in August, when both Kingston and Sudbury Police received information of a man recruiting and transporting two young females from their jurisdictions for sex trafficking.
The victims are safe and being provided support services, which include some support from Victim Services of Kingston and Frontenac. Police believe there may be more victims and ask that anyone who has information come forward to their local police.
