Contrary to expectations that larger cities like Toronto or Vancouver would lead the list, Whitehorse, Yukon, claimed the top position.
Kingston’s ranking adds to Ontario’s "strong" showing, with Guelph, Kitchener, London, and Barrie also making the top 10.
The report highlights a trend towards openness in relationships, with 58% of Canadians reportedly supportive of non-monogamous options.
The findings come amidst renewed attention to Ashley Madison, which was recently featured in a Netflix documentary about its 2015 data breach.
