Two youths face charges after shootings at homes in Harrowsmith and Inverary on December 30, 2024.
Around 9 p.m., a black pick-up truck stopped at a home on Ellerbeck Road in South Frontenac Township. Witnesses said at least one person inside the truck fired shots before fleeing.
Later, at 10:15 p.m., a similar incident was reported near a residence in Inverary.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers from Frontenac and Lennox and Addington counties searched for the truck and arrested three youths. A search of the vehicle revealed an air pistol resembling a restricted handgun.
Two youths were charged with possessing an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose and will appear in court in Kingston. The third was released without charges.
