Detours in place
Collins Bay Road is closed at the CN Rail Crossing from 6 p.m. on September until Wednesday at at 6pm for necessary crossing repairs.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use a detour along Bath Road, Coverdale Drive, Bayridge Drive, and Taylor Kidd Boulevard.
The City of Kingston advises travellers in the area to expect delays and plan for extra travel time. Commuters are encouraged to follow the posted detour signs to navigate around the closure.
The repairs are part of ongoing efforts to improve road and railway safety in the area.
Local residents and businesses are advised to plan ahead for the closure and make necessary adjustments. Emergency vehicles will still have access to the area during the repair period.
