The winning streak continues for Frontenacs

Can they make it 16 in a row?

The Kingston Frontenacs extended their team record home winning streak to 15 games last night with a 7-1 win over the Ottawa 67's at Slush Puppie Place.

Frontenacs Head Coach Troy Mann says the team showed a lot of jump right out of the gate.

Emil Pieniniemi had a four-point night, and Mann says special teams stepped up.

With the win, the Fronts and Barrie Colts are tied for 2nd in the OHL's East Conference with 82 points, but the Colts hold the tie-breaker.

The Fronts have two winnable games ahead this weekend as they take on the Petes and 67's.

Kingston trails Brantford by three points in the hunt for divisional supremacy.
