Rink Named After Mike Lee Insurance
The Cataraqui Community Centre Arena has officially announced the naming rights sponsorship of its ice rink to Mike Lee Desjardins Insurance.
This partnership, approved by City Council, will last for five years and aims to enhance the recreational offerings in northwest Kingston.
The facility features two ice pads and four community rooms, located near the Cloverdale ball diamonds.
The Mike Lee Insurance Ice Rink is an NHL-sized pad available for ice activities from July to April, with a dry floor from May to June. The Kinsmen Ice Pad, an Olympic-sized rink, operates from September to March, transitioning to a dry floor from April to August.
Mike Lee Insurance, led by a dedicated team, provides a range of insurance options and actively supports local hockey and community initiatives.
Director of Recreation and Leisure Services Amy Elgersma expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing its role in promoting health and wellness in the community.
