New ferry needs some help
The Wolfe Islander III is back in service after its replacement, the Wolfe Islander IV, was damaged on Wednesday morning.
The newer ferry sustained minor damage at the Kingston dock and was taken out of service around noon for inspection and repairs. No injuries were reported, and passengers were offloaded safely.
Travelers heading to Wolfe Island faced delays while the ferry crew retrieved the older Wolfe Islander III from Amherst Island. The ferry service says it is working to restore normal operations as soon as possible.
Travelers are advised to check for updates before heading to the terminal.
