Ben Gooch named new CEO of Kingston Community Health Centres

He takes on the role next month

Kingston Community Health Centres (KCHC) has appointed Ben Gooch as its new CEO. Gooch will officially take over the position on October 15, 2024. Interim CEO Wendy Vuyk will return to her permanent role as Director of Community Health after leading KCHC following Michael Bell’s departure earlier this year.

Gooch currently serves as Regional Director of Community Support Programs at Providence Care. He brings 15 years of experience and holds an MBA and a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University.

During his time at Providence Care, Gooch expanded the Vocational Rehabilitation and Adult Day programs. He also played a vital role in supporting community programs throughout the pandemic. Before his current role, Gooch led the opening of 10 new business ventures that tripled the size of Providence Care’s vocational rehabilitation program.

KCHC’s board expressed confidence in Gooch’s ability to drive the organization forward and continue its mission of community care.
