Kingston Buskers Rendezvous wraps with Seb & Fritzzz winning 'People's Choice Award'

It was a successful 34th edition of the Kingston Buskers Rendezvous.

The event was held last weekend and Seb & Fritzzz won the People's Choice Award for the second year in a row.

This year's festival introduced exciting new programming, such as the Buskers Bootcamp in Confederation Park, where children learned performance skills like juggling, beatboxing, and hula hooping from the talented performers. The Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation's mini planes provided a thrilling experience for kids, while Buskers After Dark electrified Springer Market Square on Saturday night.

The festival also supported United Way's Success by 6 program, raising nearly $1,200 through audience donations. This initiative aims to enhance the lives of Kingston's youngest children through community support.

Plans for next year's Kingston Buskers Rendezvous, set for July 10-13, 2025, are already in motion according to organizers.
