United Way KFL&A sets huge goal

The group is looking for record-breaking results

The United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (KFL&A) has set its highest-ever campaign goal for 2024.

The organization aims to raise $3,950,000, a $130,000 increase from last year.

All funds raised support local programs addressing issues like homelessness, food security, addiction, and mental health.

Kingston Mayor Brian Paterson shared his excitement via a congratulatory video, while Greater Napanee Mayor Terry Richardson expressed gratitude to volunteers, noting the challenging times we face. Joanne Langlois, Chair of the 2024 Campaign, highlighted the crucial role of volunteers in her speech.

Last year, over 70,000 people benefited from local agencies, and this number is expected to rise. The campaign runs until November 28, 2024. For updates and more information, visit www.unitedwaykfla.ca.
