Providing Support for Women, one outfit at a time
Dress for Success Kingston is dedicated to providing support, guidance, and mentorship to women in need in the Kingston and area community. They're part of a global network and have been active here for 11 years serving thousands of local women. Executive Director Lindsay MacDonald explains how they do it.
There's no catchment area for their services and the ages of women seeking help is quite wide as Lindsay notes.
In addition to the private one-on-one suiting sessions, Dress for Success collaborates with a great group of area professional women who offer effective support in many areas.
The clothes and accessories that Dress for Success offer are generously donated by area women, but public support and funds are always needed and appreciated. An inaugural golf tournament is coming up to provide a unique opportunity for both men and women to support the great work that Dress for Success does. Lindsay has the details.
