Don’t miss your chance to vote!

Here’s what you need to know before April 28

With the federal election set for April 28, Elections Canada is reminding Canadians to get ready to vote.

Registered voters will start receiving voter information cards by mail in the coming weeks. Anyone who doesn’t receive a card, or sees an error, should visit Elections.ca to check or update their registration.

Candidates have until April 7 at 2 p.m. to register. The full list of candidates will be released on April 9.

Advance polls run from April 18 to 21, open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voters who prefer to vote by mail must apply online or at any Elections Canada office by 6 p.m. on April 22.
