Investigation underway after death of inmate
The death of a 24-year-old inmate at Joyceville Institution in Kingston is being investigated.
On October 15th, 24-year-old inmate Donald Musselman died while in custody while serving an indeterminate sentence for second-degree murder since May 21, 2024.
Correctional Service Canada has confirmed that Musselman’s next of kin have been notified. In accordance with standard procedure, CSC will conduct a review of the circumstances surrounding the death. Additionally, the police and the coroner have been notified, as required by CSC policy.
